Bounty Hunter TK4G metal detector – an easy to use VLF detector for finding coins, jewellery, relics and other metal objects in parks, on the beach, in the garden and in the woods.
The detector runs at 6.6 kHz with a 20 cm (8″) waterproof search coil. The preset ground balance automatically compensates for soil mineralisation, so the unit works both in damp beach sand and in clay soil with no extra adjustment. Two-tone audio and the analogue target meter help you tell a valuable find from scrap metal before you start digging.
The controls are as simple as it gets – two knobs (sensitivity and discrimination) and a three-position mode switch. Beginners and children can use it with no prior experience.

- Disc (discrimination) – filters out iron and unwanted metals
- Tone – two different tones for different metal types

Usage:
- Only the search coil is waterproof. The control box must not be submerged or left in the rain.
- Searching on someone else’s property requires the landowner’s permission. Searching in archaeological and cultural monument areas without a permit from the National Heritage Board is prohibited.
- If you find an item resembling ammunition or an explosive object, do not touch or dig it out. Mark the spot and call 112.
- The device must be returned clean, with no sand or soil on the coil and shaft.
